Well-studied in the ways of the Dirty South, 21-year-old Memphis firebrand Tre Loaded is a natural spitter. Paying tribute to one of the hottest in his city as he gets his flex on, Tre shares “GloRilla,” his first new song of the year. Smoothly surfing atop percolating bass, cheeky minor-key electric piano, and snapping Tennessee trap percussion, Tre boasts about pursuing a woman as bad as his titular fellow Memphian and explains why he’s hot in the streets: “I been havin’, this ain’t nuthin’ new/And this Glock stuck on my hip like some glue/Why settle for one b*tch, I need a few/Was already ballin’, feel like Uncle Drew,” he spits. In the video, Tre proves that he has everything a baddie needs: a closet full of designer clothes, a deluxe-sized jacuzzi, a California King bed, and infinite stacks of cash.
“GloRilla” kicks off what is sure to be a busy 2025 for Tre Loaded, who exploded into the consciousness last year with viral hits and important co-signs, leading to over 50 million catalog streams in 2024 alone.
