October 18, 2024 (Miami, FL) – Multi-platinum superstar Farruko pushes the boundaries of urban music with the release of CVRBON VRMOR, the culmination of a powerful saga that marks a milestone in his artistic and spiritual journey. This 26-track album is available now on all digital platforms.
CVRBON VRMOR is a musical production and the pinnacle of a deeply personal and spiritual journey Farruko embarked upon following his transformative conversion. In this epic saga, the artist confronts the darkness, facing internal forces that threaten to strip him of his essence and spirit.
“This project represents the culmination of an internal battle I’ve been fighting daily,” Farruko shares. “Each song is a testament to my struggle against darkness, a reflection of my search for light and redemption. CVRBON VRMOR is more than music; it’s my spiritual armor.”
The album, produced by a renowned team including Sharo Towers, Ghetto, K4G, J. Cross, ULLOA, Andy Clay, and Marshmello, among others, is a multisensory experience that challenges the limits of auditory perception. Through meticulous production and innovative sound design, each track transports the listener to vivid scenarios ranging from vast deserts to collapsing galaxies and mysterious temples hidden in unexplored dimensions.
With his voice as a weapon and his lyrics as sacred testimony, Farruko guides us on a sonic odyssey where every rhythm, note, and verse creates a multi-sensory experience. The music goes beyond sound; it’s a portal to new realms, where spirit and flesh clash in an epic struggle, and the listener is invited to transcend reality alongside him. Moreover, the production is a visceral experience that interweaves past, present, and future, revealing secrets from Farruko’s life while hinting at the uncertain paths ahead.
The visuals for “CVRBON VRMOR” are equally ambitious. Sebastián A. Pérez from Intercosmic Studios and Fernando Lugo were in charge of some of the production’s original visualizers and music videos. The official clips preserve the album’s cinematic aesthetic and draw inspiration from science fiction worlds, such as the ones George Lucas created in Star Wars.
Among the album’s 26 tracks, collaborations with artists like Austin Millz on “TURBINA” stand out, featuring a bold fusion of Latin urban rhythms and the house music for which the Harlem, New York-born producer is known. Farruko shares the limelight with Nino Freestyle, Darell, Dalex, Ñengo Flow, Madiel, and Mariangela on this new production.
The album includes “CABLES CRUZADOS,” the focus track, marking Farruko’s sonic evolution. Moving away from his urban roots, Farruko immerses in a pop/rock sound that evokes the seventies and eighties vibes. Farruko’s vocals take center stage in this track, with a warm and nostalgic interpretation showcasing his great artistic versatility. Lyrically, “CABLES CRUZADOS” reflects personal and artistic evolution, expressing deep gratitude towards God and how faith can bring order even to the greatest chaos.
