The Video:

Creating music that reflects the essence and grittiness of his hometown, Tre Loaded is one of the hottest names in Memphis. Today, the 21-year-old rapper shares “Wanna Be P,” his hard-hitting new single. Tre keeps it real on the single, alternating between demeaning disses and furious flexes over bouncy 808s and menacing keys: “Wanna be p, throwin’ dirt on my name / Yeah I rap but I hang with some hitters / And I’m a real CEO, I can’t go with no hoe, you a rat, stay under a n***a / And I can send a few hits but I wanna go do it myself, I’m a real go-getter.” In the video, directed by SumpDidIt, Tre takes a trip to NYC. It’s all business though, riding the subway to important press appointments before heading back to his crib to finally relax.

The “Wanna Be P” video continues a line of street-savvy bangers, following Tre’s street hits “Push Start,”“Another Whip,” and “Don’t Panic” released earlier this year. With over 4 million streams across platforms, “Another Whip” is picking up momentum on social platforms like TikTok and bubbling on Shazam. These singles, part of his upcoming LOADED mixtape, are the next steps on the young rapper’s ladder to success. Tre grew up in East Memphis surrounded by music, taking trips to the studio to listen to rappers like his uncle Don Trip. Tre started rhyming at age fifteen, inspired by his Memphis forebears and lyrical street rappers like Rod Wave and Ralo to turn the booth into his diary and turn rapping into his career. In early 2023, Tre first shared “Vo Flow,” a minimalist banger populated mostly by snapping fingers, low-note guitars, and Tre’s percussive voice, which eventually gained traction on social platforms like TikTok. The song generated more than 3 million streams on Spotify and over 1.5 million combined views on YouTube. Tre Loaded recently spoke about his early life and burgeoning rap career on DGB’s Off The Porch.

With much more music on deck and much further to rise, Tre Loaded is the next Tennessee upstart to know. Stay tuned and watch him elevate.
