Pioneering NYC’s ascendant sexy drill movement, Chow Lee is never ashamed to share his most out-of-pocket thoughts in his music. Today, he shares “practice!,” his latest sexy summer anthem. Over mischievous high hats and sultry keys courtesy of Cash Cobain, Chow doubles down on his commitment to the life of a rich bachelor, rapping about spending his money on women, sex, and nightlife. He calls out the amateurs on the single, responding to sly inquiries from lovers about his side chicks and the content of his music by noting that they’re “talking practice” and one-upping that with “I’m not talking practice.” In the video, Chow holds a press conference, posing as a player on the ‘69ers, to put the “practice” allegations to rest and prove he doesn’t need any warm-ups to be the hottest in town.

“practice!” continues a red-hot 2024 for Chow Lee. The single follows recent singles “act bad twin!” “swag it” (Remix) ft. Flo Milli and “s.n.a.” Released alongside the single “porno story!,” the Cash Cobain-produced “Ms. Beautiful V” has become a staple in New York City, racking up over 6 million combined streams and views across platforms, on top of 18.9k creates on TikTok, and reaching the Top 25: New York City chart on Apple Music. Last summer, Chow released his super sexy album Hours After The Club, an addictive listen, radiating with the seductive charm that inspired Pitchfork to affectionately call Chow Lee the “horniest rapper out.” Hours After The Club is chock full of infectious melodies, as Chow’s natural bravado makes every X-rated flex feel natural.
