Video: BossMan Dlow – “SportsCenter

Port Salerno, FL Native Bossman Dlow Is at the Top of His Game in New Single and Video, “SportsCenter” as Breakout Mixtape, Mr Beat The Road, Continues To Gain Traction In The Streets

Critical Praise:

“Dlow’s reckless, turnt-up anthems about chasing the bag and upgrading your lifestyle can feel damn near spiritual…The static mainstream rap landscape could use a voice who actually makes you want to crank the volume all the way up.” – Pitchfork

“Dlow motivates listeners with his work hard, play hard mentality stacking paper and getting fly to floss on the competition. (“You wanna be a boss, you gotta pay the price,” he raps on “Get In With Me.”) And he isn’t apologizing for his making recent waves in the industry, either, breaking through after pounding on rap’s door seeking entry since 2019 (“I’m trying to step on they throat — ya hear me”).”Billboard

“BossMan Dlow’s time to shine is now. His impeccable swagger, conversational cadence and booming baritone voice have allowed his breakthrough hit “Get In With Me” to amass 16 million Spotify streams in the two months since its January release and earned him his first spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.”XXL

“It’s hard to go anywhere in South Florida without hearing the 25-year-old born Devante McCreary’s music. That’s in large part due to “Get in With Me,” a heavy bass-laden track eleased in mid-January that has since transformed into a viral, TikTok sensation. Stars – from Lil Baby to Ciara to even hometown heroes like Plies – are beginning to notice yet as his career continues to take him across the country.” – Miami Herald

“The Florida native’s music is birthed from the same atmosphere as cut-throat unforgiving records from Rob49, Real Boston Richey, EST Gee, and others. In the end, BossMan Dlow excels thanks to a simple message to listeners that live as both lyrics for ‘Get In With Me’ and a mantra for his artistry: ‘You wanna be a boss? You gotta pay the price.'”UPROXX

The Video:

Still riding high off the release of his Billboard charting mixtape, Mr Beat The Road, BossMan Dlow embodies championship status in his new single and music video for “SportsCenter.” The track opens with echoes of Dlow embodying his inner hype man, giving himself a motivational pregame speech before diving into his first verse where he is introduced by the fanfare of trumpets coupled with rapid-fire hi-hats, booming bass, and chilling keys. From the moment Dlow steps out of a Maybach, we see his arms full of stacks, chains, and trophies. With shots of the rapper playing ball paired with licks like “I’m a muthaf*ckin boss, it’s gon’ cost to talk to me,” the track is emblematic of Dlow dunking on haters and swimming in his success.

Most recently Dlow hit the charts again with smash hit “Talk My Sh*t,” which went viral on TikTok and saw 560k inventive uses for his earworm bars: “Wrist piece on bling-glow, neck piece on blizzard, baby/I throw some ones, baby, you do that dance on me/I’ll throw a thousand more, keep shakin’ that ass on me/Young n**** riding around with a…yeah/Young n**** riding around, 50 thousand cash on me.” The song’s success on the platform propelled it to #3 on Billboard’s TikTok Top 50 chart.
