The Song:
With a bottomless appetite for bars and bags, YTB Fatt is missing no meals as he continues his rise through the rap ranks. Putting all lesser flexers on notice that their cars, clothes, funds, and flows can’t hold a candle to his own, the West Memphis, AR rapper shares his new single, “Let’s See.” The track finds Fatt flexing with the insolent urgency of a highly paid and highly capable hustler itching for his opps to fool around and find out: “Let’s see whose car’s the loudest/Let’s see whose diamonds hit when they smilin’/Let’s see who’s Hellcat’s the widest/N****, the smoke just went up a notch, let’s see who’s ridin’.”
“Let’s See” arrives closely following the recent three-pack EP, Fox Prelude, continuing YTB Fatt’s breakout year, which hit a peak with his recent mixtape Who Is Fatt. His first full-length project, Who Is Fatt charted on Billboard and Apple Music, reaching #4 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums and charting as high as #12 on Apple Music’s All-Genre Album Chart and at #6 on Apple Music’s Hip-Hop Albums Chart. YTB Fatt has been rising steadily in the Dirty South since the beginning of the year. Born and raised in West Memphis, Arkansas, just across the Mississippi from the Tennessee rap hotbed, YTB Fatt caught the attention of an impressed Moneybagg Yo with songs like “Played Out” and “Don’t Crash.” Moneybagg Yo quickly signed Fatt to his Bread Gang label, collaborating with Fatt on the hit “Shot Off Gumbo” (8.7 million YouTube views) and connecting Fatt with Lil Durk on “Rock Out”–both of Yo and Fatt’s collaborations appeared on the Memphis rapper’s Hard To Love album. Since then, Fatt has continued to drop more street hits, including “Get Back,” which recently surpassed 10 million YouTube views, racking up nearly 89 million streams across platforms on his catalog in just a few short months.
