Song: Sosamann – “Just Do It” (Prod. by JRag2x)
Sosamann Gears Up for His Upcoming Sauce Da World Project with a Playful and High-Spirited New Video
2.2.2017
The Video:
Sauce Factory founder Sosamann’s infectious energy and inventive verbosity earned him membership with the Wiz Khalifa-led Taylor Gang, features from Slim Thug and Young Dolph, and even some animated lyrics from the notoriously taciturn 21 Savage. Continuing his hot streak with “Just Do It,” Sosamann shows yet again how his animated performances continue to improve. The beat starts off with warm strings, quickly adding in a sprinkling of piano and crisp drums to create the perfect canvas for Sosamann to paint with colorful, expressive lines. While some rappers ride the wave of sing-rapping, Sosamann laugh-raps through the video, explosively rapping about his extravagant lifestyle as well as calling out the fakes: “you ain’t real, that’s a lie!” In the video, vibrant animations pop and flash around Sosamann as he plays with his cash, shows off bling, and strums his AK like a guitar. With more heavy hitters on the way, Sosamann is also gearing up for his forthcoming Sauce Da World project, slated for release in the coming months.
A Houston native, Sosamann‘s career began to take off when he linked up with the Sancho Saucy and Sauce Walka to form the effervescent Sauce Factory. Releasing his first album Sauce Eskobar in early 2016, Sosamann showed off his uniquely animated rapping style which combines innovative ad-libs, machete-sharp punchlines, and a distinctively southern swagger. Following the album’s release, Sosamann was the subject of a glowing profile from Noisey, who raved, “as a music genre, Sauce contains high amounts of mischievousness, and SosaMann’s songs are especially disruptive.” In the Fall, Sosamann made two appearances on Taylor Gang’s collaborative mixtape TGOD Vol. 1, joining Wiz Khalifa on “Keep The Lies” and collaborating with Sauce Walka on “Feel Like Money.” “Sauce is not swag,” explains Sosamann. “It is not something you are scared to be doing or talking about. Sauce is freedom, and that’s the basic definition because when we talk about it we feel free… I’m in here entertaining and at this point in time I’m going to give you something to look at and that’s the Sauce, that’s the Flavor,” Sosamann explained to Noisey. “Sauce is what I’m spilling, it is what I’m dripped in. It is what splashed.” Fans can stay tuned for Sauce Da World.

Sosamann Background
It takes a unique mix of confidence and creativity to break into the music game and find success in it. Talented or not, it’s an industry that everyone isn’t built to enter, a path that everyone isn’t meant to walk upon. Yet for Anthony Denson, better known as Sosamann, stripes earned in the streets have been more than enough preparation. Shaped by the southwest side of Houston, for Sosa survival came by any means necessary, resulting in bars birthed from true stories “I started doing music to get of the streets and pain. I earned it. Music keeps me calm, sane.”
