Funk Volume Co-Founder Debuts Second Single, Video From Knock Madness; Album Out November 26

This summer, Funk Volume co-founder and de facto leader Hopsin released his “Ill Mind Of Hopsin 6” video, using the occasion to also announce the forthcoming release of his new album, Knock Madness. The album, which will be released November 26th, has had Hop’s diehard fans in a frenzy since – “Ill Mind Of Hopsin 6” has garnered over 4.5 million YouTube views since release – and today, Hopsin has returned with a new video, for aptly titled second single “Hop Is Back.”
Released at midnight, the video has already amassed over 100k views, more than 12k likes, and nearly 4k comments, and the video, co-directed by Hopsin and frequent Funk Volume collaborator George Orozco, and produced by Moses Israel, is one of Hopsin’s strongest yet, both fun and edgy – Hopsin takes humorous shots at both Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar in the final verse – and encompassing what it is that has drawn over 131 million fans to watch Hopsin’s videos over the past few years.
