Few rappers in any city can spout X-rated tough-talk as effortlessly as Compton’s 1TakeJay. Returning to his favorite haunt for an afternoon of debauchery, 1TakeJay shares “Arco 2,” his new video. The sequel to his 2018 cult hit “Arco,” “Arco 2” finds Jay unleashing a relentless barrage of disrespectful bars, dismissing haters and exes in the same breath: “1TakeJay walk, these n****s wanna be him/She jumped outta yours just to be in my DM/1TakeJay walk, these b*tches wanna freak him/Cause you broke, I’m gettin’ to the chicken like seasonin’.” In the video, premiered by HipHopDX, Jay brings a massive crew to the corner Arco, popping bottles with his homies as ladies wait on line for some quality time. “Arco 2” is the latest video from G.O.A.T., Jay’s new project, and follows the Juddyremixdem-directed clip for Jay’s hit “I Like B*tches.”
An acronym that stands for “Girls Over All Things,” G.O.A.T. is a relentless effort, purpose-built to launch any function into overdrive. Rhyming with a hilarious disregard for social niceties, Jay races ahead of the beat, finding his own rhythmic pocket as he spins bars that veer between tough-talking insults, disrespectful come ons, and charming self-deprecation.
