Still in the midst of recovery from a serious shooting incident in September, during which he was shot twice in the arm and once in the leg, Young Dolph stands triumphant. While Dolph’s last visual “While U Here” had the rapper taking a moment to contemplate the dangers of street life, “What’s The Deal” is a boastful banger with the Memphis rapper assuring his haters that he’s alive and well. With menacing production from DJ Squeeky, “What’s The Deal” is the leading track from Thinking Out Loud, Dolph’s latest album. “What’s The Deal” is the fourth video from Thinking Out Loud, following “While U Here,” the FADER-premiered “Point Across,” and the emotional “Believe Me,” which featured footage of Dolph emerging from the hospital and reuniting with his family.

With the release of Thinking Out Loud, Young Dolph also launched a brand new capsule collection of merchandise inspired by the project. Young Dolph Background

Born on the South Side of Chicago and raised in notoriously known Castalia Heights neighborhood in South Memphis, Young Dolph emerged in the urban music scene and amassed a large dedicated fan base.

Dolph grew up in a hectic environment, surrounded by drugs and alcohol, but that never completely defined him. He always had a passion for music, but it wasn’t until his peers recognized his talent and suggested that he take rap seriously. Eventually his hustle mentality and creativity led him to consistently dropping mixtape after mixtape. With authentic punch lines and stern club bangers, he created his own lane of High Class Street Music.
