On “Play Wit Yo Bitch,” the Zaytoven-produced closing track of his latest mixtape, Gelato, Dolph declared himself the unquestioned King of Memphis, taking vicious shots at crosstown rival Yo Gotti. The video, released last night, provides more background about the beef, from Yo Gotti’s attempts to sign Dolph to his about-face when Dolph started getting popular on his own. Employing a Yo Gotti look-alike to recreate scenes from the past, Young Dolph provides a humorous look at his conflict with “Ho Gotti” and illustrates legitimate reasons for beef between the two Bluff City rivals.

“Play Wit Yo Bitch” is only the latest in an epic string of high-quality visuals from Dolph. Earlier this month, Dolph rocked Versace snow boots in the NOISEY premiered “Whole Lot,” unveiled the Ten Baller Commandments on “Baller Alert,” saluted the Black Mafia Family on “Meech,” and celebrated the release of his latest mixtape with the opulent video for “Gelato,” which has earned over 1.6 million views on YouTube since its release. Born on the South Side of Chicago and raised in notoriously known Castalia Heights neighborhood in South Memphis, Young Dolph emerged in the urban music scene and amassed a large dedicated fan base.
