One of the most popular and prolific independent rappers in the game today, Memphis’ Young Dolph continues his year-long hot streak with the release of “Nothin‘.” Returning to his old neighborhood with a Rolls Royce, Dolph reflects on his humble beginnings, growing up with crack addicted parents, and overcoming the odds to become richer than your favorite rapper: “I came up from across the track where n*ggas starvin’ at/where n*ggas cross out they own brother and they heartless at/the same fuck n*ggas that used to sell my mama crack/I flex on they bitch ass, cop them coupes back-to-back.” Premiered byWorldStarHipHop, “Nothin'” is the fourth video released from Young Dolph’s latest mixtape, Rich Crack Baby, following the black-and-white video for “If,” the strip club-set “Trappa,” which has 590,000 views on YouTube, and the David Lynch-meets-the trap clip for the title track (over 1 million views). Born on the South Side of Chicago and raised in notoriously known Castalia Heights neighborhood in South Memphis, Young Dolph emerged in the urban music scene and amassed a large dedicated fan base. Dolph grew up in a hectic environment, surrounded by drugs and alcohol, but that never completely defined him.
