A firestarter who specializes in abrasive and hard-hitting bangers, Tasha The Amazon is Toronto’s hardest emcee. Ferociously berating trendhoppers and fakes, Tasha builds unstoppable momentum with “Ways.” Percussively attacking a gurgling cauldron of an instrumental, created with her production partner Danny Thrax, together as Bass & Bakery, Tasha struts her stuff on the track, boasting about her ends and menacing anyone who would try to stop her.Premiered by XXL, “Ways” is an industrial rap banger, perfectly suited to the underground warehouse parties where Tasha made her name. Famous in Toronto for her energetic stage performances and her warehouse parties notorious for getting shut down by the police, Tasha grew her following in the U.S. with Die Every Day, her 2016. Receiving attention and acclaim from  Billboard, FADER, and Hypetrak for singles like “Picasso Leaning” and the Pigeons & Planes-premiered “Prayer,” earned a nomination for Rap Recording of the Year in the 2017 Juno Awards. Canada’s biggest music award show, the Juno Awards placed her alongside fellow nominees Drake, Tory Lanez, Belly, and Jazz Cartier and recognized Die Every Day as one of the five best rap albums in the country. A recent signee to the Windish Agency, now under the umbrella of Paradigm Talent Agency, Tasha took her frenetic live show on the road, touring Europe, the United States, and Mexico earlier this year.
