The Video:

A Texas rapper and sauce spiller who enjoyed a wildly successful 2016, Sosamann whips it up with his day-one/fellow Sauce Factory member Sauce Walka on “Kasper,” from their breakout mixtape In Sauce We Trust. Surrounded by luxurious sports cars and their crew packing massive weapons, Sosamann and company threaten all those who fake the flex: “Ride around with the 40 for disasters/Try to touch the sauce, I’ll send you outer space like NASA/Talkin’ all that tough shit, like I won’t get at ya/Pussy n*gga think you can’t get shot, you ain’t Kasper.” The video, premiered by XXL, is the latest in a string of bangers, including “Just Do It” and the 21 Savage-featuring, Nard & B-produced “Sauce Savage.”

Brought up on the streets of Houston’s southwest side, Sosamann earned membership to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang last year, as well as features from Slim Thug, Young Dolph, and 21 Savage. A mainstay in his hometown, Sosamann recently interviewed on Sway In the Morning’s Houston broadcast, breaking down some H-town slang and telling stories about recent collaborations. His first album, Sauce Eskobar, released in early 2016, formally introduced the world to Sosamann’s adrenalized rapping style, inventive ad-libs, and katana-like punchlines, delivered with a distinctively southern swagger.

In a glowing profile from NOISEY, Sosamann explains, “Sauce is not swag. It is not something you are scared to be doing or talking about. Sauce is freedom, and that’s the basic definition because when we talk about it we feel free… I’m in here entertaining and at this point in time I’m going to give you something to look at and that’s the Sauce, that’s the Flavor.” Sosamann makes it very clear, “Sauce is what I’m spilling, it is what I’m dripped in. It is what splashed.” With a string of singles and videos planned in the coming weeks, Sosamann is preparing fans for Sauce The World, slated to release this Spring.
