24 year-old producer and rapper Baeza is no stranger to the grind. After getting his first beat making software when he was 13, Baeza has continued to grow as both a producer and a rapper. After taking his career more seriously in high school, the Fresno native began selling beats, which ended up providing for his equipment to launch his hip-hop career and has since become one of the rising stars on the West Coast. His first full-length mixtape, Dough and Dro, was released in 2013 and, with the help of Baby Bash, who collaborated with the rapper on the Dough and Dro‘s “Racks,” Baeza garnered a social media presence of what now stands at over six figures on several outlets and was even spotted on Kylie Jenner’s Snapchat while she was singing along to his hit single “Living It Up (feat. Tyga)“. Baeza has additionally accumulated millions of views on YouTube with fans and critiques alike waiting for his next move. While additionally managing his own clothing line, Striktly Business, Baeza is signed to EMPIRE, who distributed the full-length version of his 2014 release The Man EP, via EMPIRE.

It was later included on his second EP The Man, which was released via Baeza Music. He has shared stages with Roach Gigz on the California Nights Tour in the fall of 2014 has collaborated with Baby Bash on a video for “Certified Freaks.” Baeza was additionally a featured artist on “Like That” by DJ ASAP, which was included on Noisey‘s On the Roof Vol. 1 mix in October 29, 2014. “With known factors Sage The Gemini and Baeza, as well as up-and-comers Symba, The Kid Ryan, and Milla, ‘Like That’ is a hit, and with ASAP’s connections, the song already getting play up and down the coast,” VICE wrote about the track. That month he was also featured on the cover of Goder Magazine.
On his 2013 Far From Ready tour Baeza performed thirteen stops in the United States with a DJ, ending the tour as a headlining act at the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Fresno. He performed for a second time at the Fresno Veterans Memorial Auditorium to debut material from his new EP, Right on Time, which served as his first studio release. Recorded at Tyme Studios in Fresno, he described the project as being the first he had “sat down and made with a purpose,” as compared to making mixtapes on the road. The first single was a remix of “Slip N Slide,” one of his most popular songs. Baeza supported the new album on tour with 2Chainz, and was featured as an “artist on the way to the top” in The Fresno Bee.
