Rolling Loud California 2024 was one of the most memorable events in the 10 year history of Rolling Loud–perfect weather, immaculate vibes, and thrilling performances from an unbeatable array of A-list talent. The fest started with its first-ever Thursday night show, featuring ¥$ (Ye and Ty Dolla $ign) and special guests including QuavoYG, and Freddie Gibbs. Friday, appropriately branded “Pink Friday,” featured a legendary performance by Queen Nicki Minaj, who brought the festival to Gag City during the only L.A. stop on her “Pink Friday 2 Tour,” plus memorable turns from Sexyy Red and a joint set by L.A. heroes YG and Tyga.

On Saturday, Post Malone was in rare form, providing a salve of calm after a busy festival day and welcoming Quavo for a performance of “Congratulations.” Sunday was perhaps the most stacked day of all, featuring performances from Don Toliver (bringing out special guests Travis Scott, Kodak Black, and Ty Dolla $ign), Chief Keef (who brought out Mike WiLL Made-It and Sexyy Red), and culminating in a festival-capping performance by Future x Metro Boomin, which brought guests Travis Scott, Quavo, and Don Toliver back to the stage, featured rare performances of mixtape favorites like “Karate Chop” and “Monster,” and debuts of multiple new songs from their upcoming joint album WE DON’T TRUST YOU.

Beyond the performances, fans enjoyed activations that commented on all aspects of hip-hop and Los Angeles culture. These on-site activations included Bunny’s Bae Bar x Forever 21, the festival’s one-stop glam shop, a skatepark and skate contest hosted by DGK, a food court curated by Rolling Loud and iconic Los Angeles food festival Family Style (featuring a collaborative item by L.A. bagel shop Yeastie Boys and Pizza Hut), a carnival hosted by L.A. streetwear brand That’s A Awful Lot Of Cough Syrup, graffiti battles hosted by Secret Walls, and much more.

Rolling Loud California was merely the first stop on Rolling Loud’s 2024 World Tour, as the iconic festival brand celebrates “10 Years of Rolling Loud.” The party continues in Austria, with Rolling Loud Europe, hitting RACINO in Ebreichsdorf, Austria near Vienna, from July 5-7 this year. In November, Rolling Loud returns to the Land of Smiles for the second annual Rolling Loud Thailand, taking over Pattaya, Thailand from November 22-24, 2024. Of course, the main event is the special “10 Years of Rolling Loud” edition of Rolling Loud Miami, happening later this year.
