Tre Loaded‘s high-octane, effortlessly fly strain of Memphis music has established him as one of the hottest rising names in Bluff City. Today, the 21-year-old rapper shares “Push Start,” a bass-heavy new single. Produced by Say Breezy, “Push Start” gets its whimsical bounce from its croaking clavinet bassline, which interacts with crisp snares and insistent 808s to create a minimalist, yet speaker-knocking canvas for Tre Loaded to paint on. Deftly applying his charming Southern drawl to the instrumental, Tre stacks assonant flexes with ease, delivering bar after quotable bar: “Knock his grills up out his mouth, only thing he’s got left is molars,” he snarls. “Push Start” is the latest glimpse of Loaded, the young rapper’s upcoming EP, arriving in the coming weeks via Loaded 4 Life Records.

Tre grew up in East Memphis surrounded by music, taking to trips to the studio to listen to rappers like his uncle Don Trip. Tre started rhyming at age fifteen, inspired by his Memphis forebears and lyrical street rappers like Rod Wave and Ralo to turn the booth into his diary and turn rapping into his career. In early 2023, Tre first shared “Vo Flow,” a minimalist banger populated mostly by snapping fingers, low-note guitars, and Tre’s percussive voice, which eventually gained traction on social platforms like TikTok. The song generated over 2 million streams on Spotify and over 1.5 million combined views on YouTube. Tre Loaded recently spoke about his early life and burgeoning rap career on DGB’s Off The Porch.
