Iller Than Theirs Illeractive Art Guide / Album Drops Today

To promote their Embedded Records debut, Brooklyn-based hip-hop artists Iller Than Theirs have released an interactive web page featuring their album artwork. Users who scroll over the artwork's images are rewarded with descriptions of the varied objects, most of which refer either to the album's lyrics, to personal anecdotes, or to other members of artist collective Nuclear Family. In addition, streams of the album and videos of the group give the full multi-sensory experience.
Iller Than Theirs member Tone Tank created all the artwork on the album. As a prolific illustrator, his style shows a heavy influence from street art and posters. His portfolio also includes flyers for various events featuring fellow Nuclear Family artists, as well as for Gift of Gab (Blackalicious) and Masta Ace. Their self-titled album comes out today, September 25th.
Iller Than Theirs is Tone Tank and Krayo, with production by J. Howells Werthman and DJ Snafu (Junk Science).
