In addition to a handful of headlining shows in California, Pac Div will be opening for Snoop between December 9th and December 22nd. The guys are excited to share a stage with the gangsta rap icon, but it will not be the first time Pac Div has crossed paths with Snoop Dogg. "We first met him about five years ago, and were really happy to find out that he's been a fan since we started," said Mibbs, who, along with Like and BeYoung, were recently guests on Snoop Dogg's online news show, GGN. The impending tour with Snoop mirrors the Cali-centric theme of GMB, which chronicles Pac Div's journey as they usher in the revitalization of LA's hip-hop scene. The Background: Based in Southern California, Pac Div started rapping together in high school as an eleven-member crew. Realizing a group of that size was not realistic, they shrank to three members in 2005. Soon after the release of their first mixtape, Sealed For Freshness: The Blend Tape, the group received national attention from Billboard, Rolling Stone, The Source, VIBE, XXL and gained the approval of hip-hop legends Pharrell Williams, Ludacris, ?uestlove, Talib Kweli, 9th Wonder and more. They continued climbing the ladder, opening up for big names like Nas, Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Ice-T, Ludacris and N.E.R.D.
