The Song:
Since winter, Atlanta producer Mike WiLL Made It has been teasing the release of his new mixtape, Est. In 1989 Pt. 2. The tape, a follow-up to last year's lauded Est. In 1989 (Last Of A Dying Breed), was first scheduled to come out this spring, but was put on hold as Mike WiLL lent his production efforts to new singles from 2 Chainz ("No Lie" Ft. Drake), Future ("Turn On The Lights," "Truth Gonna Hurt You" and "Neva End"), B.o.B. ("Just A Sign"), and more.
Mike WiLL has since been in the studio with Kanye West, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, and others, but, refusing to let fans wait any longer, he's now excited to release the latest single from Est. In 1989 Pt. 2, "Bands A Make Her Dance (Remix)" featuring Juicy J and Lil' Wayne.
In addition to serving as the latest leak from Mike WiLL's forthcoming mixtape, the track will also be Juicy J's new single, and, well, it's pretty clear to see why. Mike WiLL blesses Juicy with a infectious, dripping instrumental full of beating drums, shifting dynamics, and bouncy synths that serve as the perfect backdrop for Juicy's catchiest stripper anthem in years. While Juicy's verses remain the same, Lil' Wayne pops up for a scene-stealing remix verse.
