New Mixtape, The Smokers Section, Out Tomorrow; Presented By Man Bites Dog Records And 2DopeBoyz

This Saturday, on April 20th, Man Bites Dog Records' youngest signee, Hayze, will release his debut mixtape, The Smoker's Section. The tape is being presented in conjunction with 2DopeBoyz, and today, after unveiling the mixtape single "Eyes Low," which features Freck Billionaire, earlier this week, 2DBZ is premiering the final single before tape release, "Cloud 9."
The track, which features Alumni, serves as the mixtape closer on The Smoker's Section, and from the opening notes it's easy to see why. The relaxed, airy track feels like a soulful throwback, driven by keys and horns, and Hayze uses the track to peel back a bit of his hardened, weeded exterior to open up for listeners. "I don't even rant, rave/ Just trap, save/ Put my family over me until the grave/ But where's my release?" raps Hayze, before bringing things full circle, making it clear why his tape is called The Smoker's Section: "I'm Hayze, so you know I'm where the weed's at... Cloud nine/ I get high and try to find where it be."
